These use a variety of techniques designed to assist multi disciplinary teams to solve problems and create design briefs.
A central feature of our method is to use different forms of media to generate wide ranging creative thought which can then be refined and focused in effective, calibrated action.
Illustrated here are two recent workshops. The top photograph shows the Heartlands scheme. Traditional methods were used here using aerial photographs, models and sketches. This is closely allied to our project management role and as the workshops run; cost, risk, interdependency, legal, design and coordination issues are captured and transferred to the project control documents.
The lower photograph shows members of the Historic Royal Palaces Team working on storyboards for four exhibitions for Kensington Palace. Here we have developed techniques based on feature film production using Logo Visual Thinking. The team are working with Magnotes and from the basic exhibition outlines story structures are recorded in Visual Concept the companion software to the LVT system.
