Sudbury Hall Museum of Childhood
Stephen Feber was Curator between 1980 and 1984.

Sudbury Hall houses a museum of childhood. Its collections are comprehensive and include the 1982 acquisition of the Cadbury Collection.

The displays provide a context for children and families to discover childhood in the past. There is a particular focus on the C19th although displays have been extended to cover C20th subjects. In 1982 Stephen did an exhibition on the psychology of play, which was the beginning of his experiments with interactive play based environments. Sponsorship and support was obtained form number of toy manufacturers, including Kiddicraft and Lego.

The Museum is located in part of the C17th Sudbury Hall building, owned and run by the National Trust. It is currently closed for refurbishment.
