We were asked by HRP to act as principal contractor for the "Diana a Princess Remembered" exhibition at Kensington Palace under a three year framework agreement.
The exhibition started on the 30th June and is timed to link with the tenth anniversary of the death of the Princess. The exhibition was originally intended to run until the 8th of January 2008, however, due to its success, this has now been extended until March 2008.
The exhibition focuses on those who were directly involved with or affected by the Princess and has four themes; Princess, Humanitarian, Fashion Icon and Mother. Extensive use is made of BBC footage and stills photography from fashion and press photographers. The work of photographers Tim Graham, Arthur Edwards, Jayne Fincher and Ian Jones is featured. We also interviewed the fashion designers Bruce Oldfield, Elizabeth Emanuel and David Sassoon.
The exhibition takes the form of wall projections in three of the rooms of Kensington Palace using 11 Panasonic DLP projectors.
Story Making Workshops
We were also asked by Historic Royal Palaces to run four days of story making workshops in 2006 to assist the development of their HLF application for Kensington Palace.
These workshops were jointly facilitated with Dan Varney from the Centre for Management Creativity. Julia Holberry helped us with her expertise on HLF applications.
The workshops use a range of thinking techniques.
